What's in "dye" besides "dye"?

Guide: Dye production is generally divided into three steps:

1. Synthesis of dye intermediates

2. Dye intermediates produce raw dye powder through chemical reaction

3. The raw dye powder is processed to produce commercial dyes, which is the commercialization of dyes

The commercial dyes are not only the raw powder of the dye, that is, in addition to the dyes, when the commercial dyes are commercialized, the following briefly introduces the ingredients in the dyes in addition to the dyes when the dyes are commercialized:

#1. Dispersant:

It should be the most commonly used auxiliaries for the commercialization of dyes. The general varieties are:

1. Sodium lignosulfonate: Sodium lignosulfonate is an anionic surfactant. It has strong dispersing ability and is suitable for dispersing solids in water medium.

2. Dispersant NNO: The chemical names are sodium methylene naphthalene sulfonate and sodium methylene naphthalene sulfonate. The dispersant NNO is mainly used as a dispersant in disperse dyes, vat dyes, reactive dyes, acid dyes and leather dyes, with excellent grinding effect, solubility and dispersibility.

3. Dispersant MF: methyl naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate, mainly used as processing agent and dispersant in the grinding of disperse dyes and vat dyes. The dispersing performance is better than the dispersant NNO.

4. Dispersant CNF: α-benzylmethylnaphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate, the main chemical component is benzylnaphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate, and its high temperature resistance is the best among the three naphthalenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensates.

5. Dispersant SS: Alkylbenzenesulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate, the main chemical component is the condensate of mixed cresol, naphthalene sulfonic acid and formaldehyde, mainly used for the grinding of disperse dyes.

#2. Filler:

In order to adjust the strength of the dye to reach the standard, add a neutral filler:

1. Sodium sulfate, which is sodium sulfate, basically all kinds of dyes will be added; it has the advantage of low cost.

2. Dextrin, mainly used for cationic dyes.

#3. Dustproof agent

In order to prevent the dye dust from flying, dustproof agents are usually added, generally:

1. Mineral oil emulsion

2. Alkyl stearate

The above additives are usually added to powder or granular dyes. If it is a liquid dye, thickeners (viscosity modifiers), antifungal agents, chelating dispersants, non-volatile solvents, polyethylene glycol compounds, etc. are also added. .
